Welcome to angularventures.com, owned and operated by Angular Management Company, LP (“Angular,” “we,” or “us”). By using this website and its associated services (including any podcasts, newsletters, or other content available hereon) (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to these terms and conditions of use, which include the Privacy Policy below, (the “Terms”); if you do not agree, you may not use the Site. Angular may modify the Site and/or these Terms from time to time without notice to you, except that if Angular makes material changes to these Terms, we will post the revised Terms and the revised effective date on this Site and/or provide notice by some other means. By using the Site following any modifications to the Terms, you agree to be bound by the modified Terms.

Use of the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Site. You will comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in connection with your use of the Site. You will not violate or attempt to violate the security of the Site or Angular’s systems or network security, including, without limitation by (i) accessing data not intended for users of the Site or gaining unauthorized access to an account, server or any other computer system; (ii) attempting to probe, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures; (iii) attempting to interfere with the function of the Site, host or network. Information Not Confidential; Not an Offer to Invest; Site Content.

If you choose to contact any Angular personnel using the contact information you find on the Site, you understand any information and/or materials you provide to such personnel will not be treated as confidential or proprietary. Angular undertakes no obligation to review information submitted by you, or to return such information to you. Angular may receive information that is similar to information you submit, or may have already received information containing ideas and plans that are the same as or similar to ideas and plans contained in information you submit to Angular. Nothing you submit to Angular will cause it or its affiliated funds to be limited or restricted from the pursuit of any opportunities, either alone or with third parties.

Your use of the Site or communication with any Angular personnel is not an indication that Angular or its affiliated funds will invest in any business you are associated with, nor is it an invitation to invest in any Angular entity or affiliated fund. You understand Angular is not in any way obligated to invest, offer the opportunity to invest, or to consider an investment or opportunity to invest. Any such offer or solicitation will be made separately and only by means of confidential offering documents specific to the relevant investment fund or other investment vehicle to investors that, among other requirements, meet certain qualifications under federal securities laws. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to the conflicts of laws provisions thereof. In the event of any dispute arising in connection with these Terms, you hereby consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts of New Castle County, Delaware. The failure of Angular to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated, to the minimum extent necessary, so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable. You may not assign these Terms or transfer any of your rights or obligations hereunder without Angular’s express written consent. These Terms inure to the benefit of Angular’s successors, assigns and licensees. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Angular with respect to the subject matter herein.

Privacy Policy.

We respect your privacy and, whether you are visiting the Site as an investor, founder or member of the general public, you are entitled to the protection of your personal information. Please read the Privacy Policy below to learn how we treat your personal information.

All of your Personal Data that we collect may be transferred to a third party if we undergo a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or other transaction in which that third party assumes control of our business (in whole or in part). When establishing a retention period for specific categories of data, we consider who we collected the data from, our need for the Personal Data, why we collected the Personal Data, and the sensitivity of the Personal Data.

For example, we retain your device/IP data for as long as we need it to ensure that our systems are working appropriately, effectively, and efficiently. We may further retain information in an anonymous or aggregated form where that information would not identify you personally.

7. Personal Data of Minors.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Data about children under 16 years of age. Exercising Your CCPA Rights

To exercise the rights described above, you must send us a request that (1) provides sufficient information to allow us to verify that you are either the person about whom we have collected Personal Data or are an agent authorized by that person, and (2) describes your request in sufficient detail to allow us to understand, evaluate and respond to it. Each request that meets both of these criteria will be considered a “Valid Request.” We may not respond to requests that do not meet these criteria. We Do Not Sell or Share Your Personal Data

We will not “sell” or “share” your Personal Data, as that term is defined in the CCPA, and have not done so over the last 12 months. We also do not sell or share the Personal Data of minors under 16 years of age.

We Will Not Discriminate Against You for Exercising Your Rights Under the CCPA

9. Privacy Rights of Other United States Residents.

California Resident Rights

California residents are entitled to contact us to prevent disclosure of Personal Data to third parties for such third parties’ direct marketing purposes, under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84. Nevada Resident Rights

We do not currently sell your Personal Data as sales are defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.

10. Privacy Rights of European Union and United Kingdom Residents.

The Site is hosted and operated in the United States (“U.S.”) by us and through our service providers, and if you do not reside in the U.S., laws in the U.S. may differ from the laws where you reside. If you are a resident of the European Union (“EU”), United Kingdom, Lichtenstein, Norway, or Iceland, you may have additional rights under the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (collectively, the “GDPR”) with respect to your Personal Data, as outlined below.
